After beginning her career in sales & customer service with
United Airlines in 1968 in New York City, Mary Alice moved to Denver in 1974,
where she pioneered the design and implementation of external customer recognition
events for top Mountain Region customers, as well as the design and local
implementation of the original and following Prospectors’ Days and “I
Love New York” campaigns. Promoted back to New York, she was Sales
Person of the year 3 years in a row. In 1989, she moved to Apollo Travel
Services, which ultimately became Galileo USA, serving as the Northeast Regional
Director and then eventually, Director of Customer Service, Training & Development
for the United States and Canada. During her tenure, she introduced the mapping
of account management service deliverables to counterpart sales management
goals in support of a streamlined, cohesive, sales-focused company vision.
